Starting off with our ground clearance, we're going to have about 13 inches to the bottom of our carrier. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 32 inches, and our closest point in this position is going to be about 11 inches away. On our Town and Country, we do have a single-passenger side exhaust. more

Starting off with our ground clearance, we're going to have about 15 1/4 inches. That is because we have a raised shank in the back, which is going to lift our carrier even higher than our hitch. Overall, to our vehicle we're adding about 26 1/4 inches, and our closest point is going to be about 5 3/4 inches away. Now, on our Chrysler we do have a single passenger side exhaust here. more

When you've got it installed into your receiver, overall, you added about 26-and-a-half inches to the rear of your Town & Country. The carrier itself sits about 7 inches away from the bumper of your Town & Country. more

Now, let's go ahead and take the measurements. First we're going to get our ground clearance, that looks like we're going to be at about 11 inches to the ground to the lowest part of the bolt. Now, let's get an overall measurement from the back of the car how much you're going to add to your car and that is right about 27 inches. Now, we're going to ahead and see how far off the closest point to the back of the car is going to be, right about two and a quarter inches. The Chrysler Town & Country has a single exhaust and we'll go ahead and get a measurement from the exhaust to the closest point, right about eight and three quarter inches. more

Speaker: Today, on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to do a test fit on the Carpod Folding Walled Cargo Carrier. This cargo carrier will hold 450 pounds, fits in a 2-inch receiver. Now we will take some measurements. First, we're going to go with our ground height, ground clearance, which will be 18 1/2 inches. Now, we'll see how much we added to the over-all length of the vehicle, and we're about 33 inches. Now we'll get a measurement here at our closest point, we're about 3 1/2 inches. On the Town and Country, the exhaust exits on the passenger's side we'll get a measurement how far it is away from the exhaust, which we're about 15 inches. Keep in mind you want to keep your more heat-sensitive items towards the middle or on the driver's side to prevent any problems. more

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country, we're doing a test fit on the Let's Go Aero GearCage. This is a 48 x 32 inside dimension cargo carrier capable of holding up to 300 pounds and designed for use in 2-inch hitches. As you can see, it's a large spacious carrier. We can easily get these 3 bags on here. Each one of them's got 50 pounds in it, so we're about half the maximum limit, and as you can see, the carrier doesn't really move unless the car moves. It's really locked in solid using an anti-rattle bolt, secures it in. Different than a lot of the cargo carriers on the market. more

Today on our 2013 Chrysler Town & Country we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista cargo carrier. This is going to be your folding-style, 20 by 60" steel-constructed rack. It's going to have your 500 pound weight capacity and it's going to be part number SR9851. It does come with the anti-rattle bolt, as you can see there in our 2" shank, because this is going to be for 2" hitches only. We'll go ahead and remove that, as well as the locking washer and washer, and then place this into our 2" receiver that we have here today so you can see how it looks and fits. Insert the shank into the receiver and then line up your pinholes. Once you have your pinholes lined up, go ahead and insert that anti-rattle bolt, which is going to pull the side of the shank against the side of the receiver, tying the suspension to your rack and eliminating a lot of the sway, rattle, and wobble that you may have. more

Now, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 12 and a half inches of ground clearance. The closest point of our bike rack to our Town and Country is about 3 and a half inches. We've added about 26 and a half inches to the overall length of our Chrysler Town and Country. When opening the rear hatch, we see that it breaks over the cargo carrier at about 13 and a half inches. more

Today, on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be test fitting the 17x50 MaxxTow cargo carrier for two inch hitches, rated at 500 pounds, part number MT70107. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the pin hole and install our pin and clip. Now, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 12 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Town and Country is about an inch and a quarter. We've added about 21 inches to the overall length of our Chrysler Town and Country. When opening our rear hatch, we see that it breaks over the cargo carrier at about 13 inches. The exhaust system exits here on the passenger side and sits about 13 inches away from our cargo carrier. more

Well then put the safety clip on the other side of the pin, which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance here at the back of the back cargo carrier is 11 inches. From the closest of the cargo carrier to the back of the vehicle is 1 inches. more

Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country we will be test fitting the 24x60 Folding Cargo Carrier part number 52018f made by Surco for 2-inch trailer hitches.Because our vehicle is already equipped with a 2-inch and our cargo basket is already preassembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it into the vehicle. Well start by sliding the shank into the hitch, lining up the hitch pin hole and then inserting the hitch pin with the safety clip. Please not that our cargo basket does have lights on it. This is not included with the cargo basket. With our hitch pin installed and our safety clip in place, our cargo basket is not secured to the vehicle.What wed like to do for you now is to give you a couple of measurements of this cargo basket from the lower most point of the cargo basket to the floor is 10 inches. From the closest point of the cargo basket to the back of the vehicle is 3 inches. more
